Christmas Party 2005
Held at the Cheese Factory, Cranbourne Road Berwick on the 20th November 2005
Although a bit chilly early it turned into an absolutely beautiful day. A return to the old Cheese Factory, it is just the ideal location, plenty of shade, play equipment for the kids, good sized well grassed area with all the amenities and away from the general public.
There was a great turnout of members and by 11:30 Ian had the BBQ fired up and we all enjoyed the beautiful meats and salad. Hard luck prize when to Gramps, who broke an axle just one corner from getting to the party, very lucky for it not to happen on the freeway. Thanks to Mark and Graham and Peter for coming to Gramps aid and organising a flatbed and a place for the roadster to stay while repairs are carried out.
One guy that couldn't make it was Ian who is recovering from a knee reconstruction, get well soon Ian. Thanks to all those who helped organise such a great day.
There was a small presentation at this years Christmas party for a couple of members who could not make it to the 30th Anniversary bash. Congratulations to Ed and Greg on becoming life members.
