1929 Williams Brothers Ford Roadster

This nearly original condition Ford Roadster took third place in Class U (Hot Rods) at the 2010 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

Built by four speedy siblings—Gerald, Herb, Monte, and Ron Williams—this car won several first-place trophies at the El Mirage dry lakebed in Southern California in 1949.

Five years later, the brothers used a Dodge Hemi engine with overhead valves to smash the Class B Roadster speed records at Bonneville; in their first attempt, they broke the best time by 12 mph.
