10. Drain Radiator: Remove pipe plugs at "R"
and "S." Insert nipples and
make connections as shown
in figure 78. Shortest length of hose is used between heater and
temperature control
valve. Make sure that hose from
point "R" is connected to temperature control valve as shown in view at "T."
Tighten hose clamps
securely.
11. Replace engine thermostat with high
temperature thermostat
furnished. Permanent antifreeze must be used. Temperature lever
should be set in warmest
position while filling
system to avoid trapping air.
12. Make sure that operating instruction tag is
furnished to the
customer.
Approximate Flat Rate Time 2.1
hours.

2. Attach
the two lengths of hose to the defroster fittings and attach the fittings
under the cowl as shown in
figure 89. The longer hose is
used on the left side. |
