10.  Drain Radiator: Remove pipe plugs at "R" and "S." Insert nipples and make connec­tions as shown in figure 78. Shortest length of hose is used between heater and temper­ature control valve. Make sure that hose from point "R" is connected to temperature control valve as shown in view at "T." Tighten hose clamps securely.
11.  Replace engine thermostat with high temper­ature thermostat furnished. Permanent anti­freeze must be used. Temperature lever should be set in warmest position while fill­ing system to avoid trapping air.
12.  Make sure that operating instruction tag is furnished to the customer.
Approximate Flat Rate Time 2.1 hours.

2. Attach the two lengths of hose to the de­froster fittings and attach the fittings under the cowl as shown in figure 89. The longer hose is used on the left side.
