Victorian Hot Rod Show

The Victorian Hot Rod Show has been conducted each year since 1966!
It is run by the Victorian Hot Rod Association and is sanctioned by the Australian Street Rod Federation

It's the largest indoor show in Victoria and the only one just for Hot Rods and Kustoms. It used to be held the Australia Day weekend and was a 3 day show. Since 2003 Australia Day is celebrated on the same day, 26th January, so the Hot Rod Show is now usually around the third weekend in January. This certainly hasn't made the show any less popular to the rodders or the general public, it's almost the opposite as in recent years there has been a very high standard of entrants and the spectators have turned up in droves.

The 2005 event was the last for Roy Fregon who has retired as Show Promoter after 25 years, a fantastic effort, thanks Roy.
